Need a Temporary Pause on Your Professional Liability Coverage?

If you’re not providing any professional-client services due to the coronavirus, you may put your liability insurance policy on hold temporarily. Pausing coverage essentially put your policy on-hold but does not cancel it. Current policyholders can expect to see the credit when your professional liability policy renews.

Premium Paid for Three Months for Group Policyholders

During these difficult and unfamiliar times, the NASW Group Insurance Program is committed to help support its policyholders. NASW Assurance Services has paid three months of premium for its Group Life, Disability Income, Hospital Indemnity and/or AD&D Insurance policies underwritten by Hartford Life and Accident Insurance Company.

We want to assure policyholders that during these unusual times, there will be no disruption to any services. Those insured under one of the NASW Group Insurance Plans can have peace of mind knowing the premium has been paid to avoid any lapse or disruption to coverage.

When you find yourself suddenly needing support, you’ll find the NASW Group Insurance Program standing beside you.

Short-Term Liability Coverage for Volunteer Work – at No Cost

Volunteering is a great way to help those in need during stressful times such as the current coronavirus pandemic.  But volunteering can be risky. When you volunteer, a claim can be filed against you as a result of your client care services. 

During the coronavirus pandemic, the NASW Risk Retention Group (NASW RRG) is providing volunteer social workers, who deliver uncompensated client care, with $500,000/$1,000,000 of professional liability insurance, at no cost.
